But in order to follow the "how-to-videos", I would need to reassemble the system, go through the cloning procedure, then open the system chassis again, and replace the HDD with the SSD. This is where I find myself in a pickle, because I just looked at some videos on how to clone the HDD to a SSD, and they all show the process to be: STEP ONE. ![]() Without thinking things through however, I opened the mac and upgraded the memory already. My parents' 2013 Mac desktop was running REALLY slowly, so I decided to upgrade its memory from 8GB to 16GB, and upgrade the HDD to an SSD. I have a question about cloning my mac's hdd. ![]()
